For six and a half decades, the Greendale Family Branch has strengthened the community. The 150th Anniversary Capital Campaign will continue our legacy of impact through significant reinvestment. Join us as we transform Greendale… inside and out!

Montachusett Community Branch

Our 150th Anniversary Capital Campaign will bridge the Y’s quality programs and services, increasing our ability to effectively serve communities in North Central Massachusetts.

Rollstone pledges $25G to help YMCA expansion into Leominster

LEOMINSTER — Rollstone Bank & Trust recently pledged $25,000 in support of the YMCA of Central Massachusetts and its expansion into Leominster.

The funds are earmarked for the new Leominster Community Branch in the heart of downtown.

“RBT has been a longtime supporter of the YMCA and its mission. We’re very happy to make this contribution to help them continue their important work,” Martin F. Connors Jr., president and CEO of Rollstone Bank & Trust, said. “RBT has a strong presence in Leominster, so we are delighted to have the Y expand into the city. They are a great addition to the community.”

Y breaks ground to make a big splash

WORCESTER- A cold wind whipping off Indian Lake kept people bundled up and sent the children’s construction hats flying across the lawn.

But come summer, the children and their families will be frolicking among splashing water in an outdoor water park as part of a $3.5 million project to improve the Greendale Family Branch of the YMCA and adjacent Shore Park.

“As you continue to invest in this facility, you are investing in our community, you are investing in its people,” City Manager Edward M. Augustus Jr. said during the project’s official groundbreaking Friday morning at the Greendale Family YMCA. “This is an integral part of our community, it’s one of the things that makes Worcester a special place.”
