What is Studio 22?

Imagine a new place where you can go to unwind after your workout, enjoy a tasty treat, have fun with your friends or even listen to live music. If you’ve just envisioned a comfortable, open café with HD TVs, friendly faces and musical equipment for public use, then you’ve seen what Studio 22 is. Although this space will be used as a center for artistic performance, it will also be an inviting area for members to use as a place to relax, recharge and reconnect with each other.

The need for a safe, convenient area in our community for musicians to hone their skills and put on shows has been obvious to the Boroughs Family Branch for many years. Our branch is proud to be offering this unique opportunity to local musicians who can now come in, plug into our equipment and play. Parents will no longer have to worry where their teenagers are holding band practice, and adults won’t have to lug their own equipment when they come to jam with their friends.

The varied schedule of this room will make it accessible to different audiences at different times of the day. While the space will be available for musicians to gather, most of the time it will be used as a member lounge. When the big game is on, you can watch it with your friends on our 46” TVs. Are your kids hungry after swim lessons? Instead of cruising by the vending machines, stop into Studio 22 and enjoy a fresh snack. Even if you just need a place to unwind after your workout, we’ve got you covered.

As construction begins on Studio 22, we’re celebrating our brand new Active Kid Zone (for family member ages 6 to 12), and we know you will, too! Monday through Friday from 4pm to 6pm, your children now have the opportunity to run, play camp games and enjoy sports & open gym under the direct supervision of our talented and well-trained athletic counselors. From 6pm to 8pm, children will enjoy creative play, games and supervised computer time in our new Kid Zone Game Room!
