We know you’re busy, so we’re here to support you, your family and all your needs.
What does it mean to learn, grow and thrive? The YMCA of Central Massachusetts does more than just watch children; we create an environment that is enriching and aids in the development of the children we serve daily whether before, during or after school and throughout the summer.
Child Development Centers
At the YMCA Centers for Child Development, we provide your child with a warm, nurturing environment staffed with experienced, caring professionals. Whether you’re looking for child care or curriculum-based education programs for your child, the YMCA is a great place for your family.
At the YMCA Centers for Child Development, our goal as educators and child care providers is to support the role of the family as their child grows and learns. We also value your involvement and input to help us provide the best care that we can for your child. We welcome center visits and your participation at family events throughout the year. Regular meetings with teachers also are scheduled to discuss your child’s growth and development.
Afterschool/ School’s Out
School’s Out programs offer a variety of enrichment, recreational, and educational activities such as cooking, arts and crafts, drama, science, computers, games, and sports. Homework help is offered on a daily basis. An emphasis is placed on building life and social skills. School’s Out participants also have opportunities to interact with their community through field and community service projects.
Child Watch
Our Ys offer free drop-in child care while mom or dad can make use of the Y. Playful, engaging options are plentiful for young children while you exercise or connect with others over shared interests.
