Program Descriptions

Beginner Pilates- This class is especially designed for the new Pilates participant.  The focus is on technique and learning sequencing of exercises.  Improves flexibility, coordination, and posture as well as increases awareness of proper body alignment and breathing.  Great for all fitness levels.

Boxing Conditioning- Increase your endurance, tone muscles and get a great cardio workout. The class combines easy to follow moves, designed for men and women, with a challenging training circuit. 

Boxing Training-Combines heavy bag and speed bag work along with mitt sparring.  Don a pair of boxing gloves and join us in the ring located in the Boxing Room off of the basketball gym.

Cycling- High-intensity class offers an incredible cardio workout combining great music and instruction with plenty of motivation.  Tailored to all fitness levels-novice to expert! Come and give it a spin!

Fit Yoga- A new class to try for those starting out or getting back into yoga.  Relax, stretch your body and mind in a supportive setting.  This class focuses on teaching various poses and increasing core strength.

H.E.A.T.-High-intensity full-body workout using functional training tools and cardio intervals. Designed for all levels of fitness.

Kuk Sool Won- Traditional martial arts of Korea.  Learn exercises and postures to build strength, endurance, agility, flexibility,                    and coordination.

Pilates- A more advanced level of Pilates with emphasis on core conditioning, strengthening of the leg, back and gluteus maximus muscles.  Highly effective ways to stretch, strengthen, and streamline your body without building bulk or stressing your joints.  It will leave you looking toned, feeling revitalized and moving with ease.

Silver Sneakers® I Muscular Strength-  Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills.  Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance, and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support.

Silver Sneakers® II Cardiac Circuit- Combine fun with fitness and increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout.  Upper-body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball is alternated with non-impact aerobics.  A chair is offered for support, stretching, and relaxation exercises.

SilverSneakers® YogaStretch- YogaStretch will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and a final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.

Step-N-Sculpt-  This class consists of creative moves put into easy to follow combination on the step to give you a cardio boost, followed by strength and conditioning exercises designed to tone and sculpt your muscles. 

Zumba- This new class is a fusion of easy to follow Latin dance steps with a mixture of body sculpting movements.  The combination of aerobic and interval training with traditional Latin and international music will be sure to energize and tone your body.
