Free Fitness Assessment and New Member Personal Training

As a YMCA member, a number of classes and programs are offered as part of your membership, at no additional cost.

 • This includes a New Member Personal Training in our Wellness Center by one of our qualified personal trainers. If you are new to our facility or need a refresher on any of our strength training or cardio equipment please do not hesitate to drop in or call to set-up an appointment! Our Wellness Center welcomes all members 13 years of age and over. If you need care for your child while you work out please check our Child Watch schedule for times and fun activities.

 • As a service to our members, we offer a free fitness assessment to start you on the right track to a healthy lifestyle.

 
Group Exercise

• Our group exercise classes are open to all members, from teens (13 years of age and over) to our senior members.  Regardless of your ability level, you can find the right class to reach your fitness goals. Our instructors can modify the exercises to match your individual needs. If you are curious about our classes and not yet sure what most interests you, we encourage you to drop in and try as many classes as you'd like.  They are all included in the price of your membership!

Nutrition Counseling
One-on-one counseling sessions with a Registered Dietician.  Learn ways to improve your eating habits to meet your personal goals and attain healthy lifestyle behaviors!

Fee:   $20 per 1/2 hour session
          $75 for 5 (1/2 hour) sessions


Health Smart Behaviors


• We are offering a FREE 8-week Health Smart Behavior Program!

Participants will:

Learn healthy lifestyle choices

  • Take responsibility for their health and health related issues
  • Motivate themselves and their families to maintain long-term changes
  • Identify barriers to health smart behaviors
  • Create goals to obtain and manage a healthier way of life

Weekly sessions will include:  group time, peer support, goal setting, and health & wellness education.

New classes will be starting in the Fall 2010 and will be offered in English & Spanish.

This program is open to all YMCA members, perspective members and community members.

Walking Program

Join the FREE weekly community walk on Mondays in August.
Meet in the lobby at 6:00 pm.  All are welcome!

YMCA Running Program

If you are looking to try something new, change up your exercise routine, or return to your
former passion of running, connect with the YMCA Running Program and take your first step.

Join us as we train for the Cape Cod Marathon and Relay Race on October 31st in Falmouth, MA.
Run a mile, a 5K, a half-marathon or the full 26.2 miles!

Weekly runs take place on Wednesdays at 6:00 pm and Saturdays at 7:30 am.

Individual Personal Training Sessions

Five Sessions: $175.00
Ten Sessions: $350.00 *Free t-shirt w/ten sessions

Small Group Personal Training Sessions
Each member is trained with an individualized program.
Have a friend or family member join you to save money and have fun!

Five Sessions:  $125.00/person
