Our YMCA is more than a fitness center with a pool! The Y is a center that strengthens the foundations of community through nurturing the potential of our youth and children, a commitment to your health and well-being as well as opportunities to give back to our community. We impact those closest to us – our neighbors. At the Y you can look forward to connecting with members, volunteers, donors and staff who are engaged in a movement that goes beyond them and creates an environment in which we can all learn, grow and thrive.
Volunteer
Becoming a volunteer at the Y means more than cleaning your neighborhood once a week. As a mentor you can aid in the development of a 7th graders math skills or help teach a family the basics of healthy nutrition and swimming. You can start a book club or an event that allows members ,volunteers and others to engage in a social setting that builds new relationships or you can become a participate on one of our boards or committees and provide leadership to our mission which affects the lives of over 28,000 individuals in Central Massachusetts. We welcome all individuals, community leaders and business executives to join us to make a difference in our communities.
